Stanislaw Okruta, 82, of Woonsocket, passed away on Tuesday at Landmark Medical Ctr. ,with his family at his side. He was the loving husband of  the late Zofia (Mikaljek) Okruta. Born Feb. 24, 1935 in Krzeszow , Poland he was the son of the late Jozef & Julianna (Sikora) Okruta, he came to this country in 1972, settling in Woonsocket. Before retiring he was a machinist for the Glass-Kraft Co.  He had a loving care for animals and his favorite pastime was spending time with family & his grandchildren. He is survived by a son, Zbigniew, “Peter” Okruta and his wife Debra of No. Smithfield and a daughter, Danuta Yatskin of No. Smithfield. A sister, Anna Gaczynski of Woonsocket, also 4 grandchildren. Matthew, Kevin, Kelly, & Sophie.  His Funeral will be Saturday at 9:00 A.M. from the Kubaska Funeral Home ,33  Harris Ave. Woonsocket with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M  at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Relatives & Friends are invited.
