Mary G. Sozek

Mary G. (Pietras) Sozek, age 92, of Woonsocket, passed away peacefully on Sunday at her home after a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Stanley P. Sozek. She was born in Blackstone, MA., the daughter of the late John & Jadwiga (Bak) Pietras, She was employed for the Uniroyal Company until it closed and in the shipping department of K.G. Engineering also in Woonsocket.
She was the loving mother of John S. Sozek and his wife Yvonne , of Schenectady, NY, Thomas P Sozek of West Greenwich, RI and James J. Sozek of Woonsocket, RI and a grandson, Jonathan E. Sozek of New Haven CT., She was the sister of the late Fred J., Stephen C. and Frank J. Pietras. Relatives & Friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, Nov. 25th, at St. Stanislaus Kostka Church, 174 Harris Ave. Woonsocket, Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
